Leading Manufacturers Andrews Air Conditioning Service has recently been awarded accreditation under the Safecontractor Health & Safety Assessment Scheme for its commitment to delivering the highest standards of health and safety management.
Safecontractor is a leading third party accreditation scheme which recognises excellence in health and safety management amongst UK contractors. The Safecontractor accreditation gives Andrews Air Conditioning’s customers confidence in its commitment to safety and is recognised by the insurance industry as contributor to lower on-site risks.
John Kinge, technical director of Safecontractor said, “Major organisations simply cannot afford to run the risk of employing contractors who are not able to prove that they have sound health and safety policies in place.”
Under the Safecontractor scheme, Andrews Air Conditioning Services underwent an exhaustive vetting process which examined health and safety procedures and the company’s track record of safe working practices. Those companies meeting the high standards appear on the Safecontractor database, which is accessible to registered users only via a website, enabling competent contractors to be easily identified and engaged by prospective clients.
