Handling Your Enquiry

At Andrews Air Conditioning we understand that selecting new air conditioning can be very confusing. If your existing air conditioning breaks down or needs maintenance how do you choose a reliable service provider who won’t charge you the earth?

Our aim is always to keep our promises and make things simple.

Therefore, to ensure you know what to expect from Andrews Air Conditioning, here’s a step-by-step guide to how we’ll handle your enquiry and, we hope, your order.

Your First Call
When you call us on 0800 731 8833 one of our friendly advisors will discuss your initial requirements and, depending on the nature of your call, will arrange for a Project Manager to visit your premises (if you need a new installation) or a Service Engineer (if you have a breakdown) at a time to suit you.

If you prefer to contact us by email on [email protected] or via the Get a Quote form on the website we’ll aim to respond within the hour.

We also have a Live Chat button to the right, enabling you to hold an interactive online conversation with one of our advisors and get an answer to your question straight away.

Our Initial Visit
When we visit your premises for the first time we will ask you to show us where the equipment is (or where you would like it to be) and, if necessary, we’ll gather information on any existing equipment, the size of the space, what you use the area for and any restrictions or preferences for pipework locations, working hours etc.

Our Quotation
Whether it’s for an installation, maintenance visit or breakdown repair, we will always give you a full quotation before commencing any work. We want you to be as confident as we are that we offer great value for money and we’re always happy to explain anything which isn’t totally clear.

Our installation quotations include information on the exact equipment we recommend for your unique application and its location in your premises, together with guidance on energy consumption, upgrades to power supplies and any other works which may be required as part of our installation. We’ll give you a clear, comprehensive price plus information on our easy-pay leasing options and the government’s Enhanced Capital Allowance Scheme which allows companies to offset the cost of replacing older, less efficient air conditioning against Company Tax. We’ll also include details of our warranty periods and Planned Maintenance Service which ensures your system performs reliably and efficiently throughout its life.

Time to Decide
We’ll contact you soon after you’ve received our quotation to check it covers everything you need - but we won’t pester you. We understand that installing air conditioning is a major investment which needs to be carefully considered.

Whilst you are considering the options, we are always available to help you with landlord’s approvals or advise you on any planning permission which may be necessary. Every situation is different but for general guidance please see our Planning Permission Guide.

When you are ready to arrange your installation let us know and one of our Project Managers will contact you to make the final arrangements and agree a suitable start date.

Opening Your Account
Our regular and returning customers usually place their orders through their credit account which provides them with 30 day payment terms. If you are a new customer we will ask you to complete an account opening form and, in the case of installations, generally request a deposit payment. This deposit will be a proportion of the project value, depending on its size, and can be made by cheque, bank transfer or credit card.

Aftercare
After completion we will provide you with a full owners guide, operating manuals, warranty periods (which you may choose to extend) and details of our optional Planned Maintenance Service to keep your air conditioning investment in perfect condition. We want you to be entirely happy with your air conditioning so we will ensure you also have our key contact names should you have any queries in the future.
