At Andrews Air Conditioning Services we take our responsibilities to the environment very seriously.
That’s why our equipment comes only from leading air conditioning manufacturers, incorporating the latest technology ensuring low energy consumption, super-silent operation and ozone-friendly systems.
Our Environmental Credentials
ISO14001 Environmental Management
Andrews Air Conditioning Services is accredited to the internationally recognised ISO14001 standard for its Environmental Management Systems.
REFCOM
As from 4 July 2009 the Fluorinated Greenhouse Gas Regulations 2009 require any air conditioning services involving the handling of refrigerant gases to be carried out only by contractors approved by REFCOM - the Register of Companies Competent to Handle Refrigerants. Andrews Air Conditioning Services is a proud member of REFCOM.
100% Ozone-friendly
We are proactive in identifying obsolete equipment containing the ozone-depleting refrigerant R22, and making recommendations for its replacement with low-energy, ozone-friendly systems. All our new equipment contains only refrigerants with a zero ozone-depleting potential such as R410A.
Energy saving
Wherever possible Andrews Air Conditioning selects low energy, inverter-controlled equipment, enabling energy savings of around 40% compared to fixed-speed systems, as well as minimising noise and vibration.
Lower carbon footprint
Wherever possible we specify AA-rated energy-efficient equipment, saving you money, reducing your carbon footprint and enabling you to take full advantage of the government’s Enhanced Capital Allowances Scheme.
Heating built in
Air conditioning offers so much more than just cooling. Installations from Andrews Air Conditioning Services offer an astonishing range of capabilities including air filtration and purification, relative humidity control and highly energy-efficient heating. The avoidance of separate heating and cooling systems offers savings in both maintenance and energy costs.
Risk reduction
Enhanced refrigerant detection and containment systems are available to monitor air quality and provide automatic isolation in the event of refrigerant escape.
